Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that midfielder Ryan Jack could be out for up to four weeks with a calf problem.

The 28-year-old went off early in the first half of the 4-0 win against Dundee United. The news comes off the back of another blow with Joe Aribo expected to be out for between four and six weeks with an ankle injury.

With the first Old Firm derby against Celtic coming up next month on October 17th, both players are major doubts for the trip to Parkhead.

Heading into tomorrow’s Europa League qualifier against Gibraltor minnows Lincoln Red Imps, Gerrard has also revealed that he’ll be without Brandon Barker, with the winger’s hamstring problem likely to keep him out for at least two weeks.

Leon Balogun (muscular) will also be missing for the game, but striker Alfredo Morelos is back in contention after returning to training despite a gashed knee.
