The Daily Record journalist Keith Jackson believes Rangers would consider selling Glen Kamara if they receive a bid of £10m this summer.

After John Lundstram’s arrival on a free transfer, there are now seven players who can play in central midfield and, with Kamara having still not signed an extension to his contract, Jackson thinks it could be the right time to sell up:

“It does look as if the Rangers squad is now top-heavy. Kamara has been an excellent signing but it makes sense to cash in now so long as the price is right. A bid of around £10m should do it.”

Kamara still has two years remaining on his current deal at Ibrox so there is no rush to offload the Finnish international, but there are believed to be a number of English clubs pursuing his signature.

Arsenal, West Ham, Everton, Leeds and Brighton are just some of the teams who have been keeping close tabs on the 25-year-old. His impressive performances for Finland at the European Championships would have made him an even more attractive proposition too.

We shall see if the Light Blues do actually receive formal bids for Kamara over the next few weeks, or whether he signs a new contract instead.
