Rangers attacking midfielder Joe Aribo is “not interested” in signing a contract extension with the club, according to Allnigeriasoccer.com.
The website claims that the Light Blues have started talks with the 25-year-old about renewing his current deal that expires at the end of next season.
However, Aribo reportedly told the club in no uncertain terms that he is not willing to extend his stay with the Scottish champions at the moment.
Three Premier League clubs have been linked with the Nigerian international over the past week, with Crystal Palace, Brentford and Watford all keeping close tabs on the player.
Aribo has been in excellent form in recent weeks, having excelled since the arrival of Giovanni van Bronckhorst as manager. The Gers boss will be desperate to keep the midfielder but the lack of time remaining on his contract means there is a tough decision to be made.
Fans will be hoping that Aribo has a change of heart and commits his future to the club in the coming weeks and months.
