Rangers are poised to sign former Leicester defender Johnly Yfeko on a free transfer, according to The 4th Official.
The insider source has claimed that the 18-year-old is “currently in Glasgow” ahead of his move to the Bears being finalised:

Yfeko looks set to be the Gers’ third signing of the January transfer window, after the loan deals for James Sands and Amad Diallo, but he isn’t expected to be part of the first team setup straight away.
The teenager left Leicester back in July and has not been able to find a new team since then. He has had a trial at Southampton which didn’t lead to the left-back getting a contract offer.
While Yfeko may have struggled to get a club down south, though, it will be hoped that the defender can follow the same path as Calvin Bassey, who also left Leicester before going on to make a name for himself at Ibrox.
