Rangers are weighing up a possible move for West Ham left-back Emmanuel Longelo, according to reports in the UK.
The 21-year-old found game time hard to come by last season, making just one appearance for the Hammers in the Europa League, and he is expected to leave the London Stadium in the coming months.
In addition to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side, newly promoted Bournemouth are said to be interested in Longelo, while English Championship Milwall and Hibernian are also tracking the player.
At the moment, it is not believed that the Gers are close to making a formal offer for Longelo, with an approach reportedly linked to the future of Calvin Bassey.
The Light Blues defender is attracting interest from Aston Villa, whilst West Ham have, in fact, been credited with an interest in the Nigerian international too. Any deal for Longelo could, therefore, be quite a long way off.
