Rangers are keeping tabs on Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports in England.

The Nigerian is out of contract at the end of the season and could be available relatively cheaply next month with the player not expected to extend his current deal at Loftus Road.

Osayi-Samuel does have a number of potential suitors, though, with Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic believed to be prioritising the signing of the 22-year-old as part of a revamp of their squad in January.

English Premier League side Crystal Palace and Belgian Pro League outfit Club Brugge are also said to be in the mix for the winger.

It remains to be seen, though, whether the Gers’ interest in the player is simply in view to signing him up on a pre-contract agreement or if they are prepared to fight it out with rivals to secure the transfer in the New Year.
