Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara put in an excellent performance as the Light Blues came out 4-2 winners against Ross County yesterday afternoon.
The Finnish international was suspended for the 1-0 win over Alashkert during the week and his return to the starting lineup coincided with a much-improved performance from Steven Gerrard’s men.
Supporters on Twitter were quick to point out Kamara’s importance to the team after the victory:
Ridiculous the difference he makes to us.

We’ve lacked a cutting edge without him and he definitely ups the tempo.

He’s my No1 top midfielder for a long time – and not just because he isn’t Swedish @ibroxrocks (JF no not that one).

As well as providing a neat assist for Alfredo Morelos’s goal, the 25-year-old was composed in possession, taking balls under pressure and playing forward passes to get Rangers moving up the pitch. It is a stark contrast to when John Lundrstram is playing in the middle of the park, as some have mentioned.
Fans will hope that Kamara does not leave Ibrox anytime soon. The midfielder has been offered a new contract but he has yet to sign on the dotted line. Spartak Moscow, Arsenal, West Ham Watford and Newcastle have all been linked with the Finn in recent weeks.
