Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge says he has been very disappointed with the impact of Amad Diallo since he moved on loan to Rangers in January.

The Ivorian, who cost Manchester United £37m, has failed to establish himself in the first team after making the switch to Ibrox and Bridge did not hold back in his criticism of the youngster:

“Rangers’ signings in January. Diallo from Man United has been non-existent.”

Bridge has also raised questions about Aaron Ramsey, with the former Arsenal player having suffered injury problems following his arrival from Juventus at the start of the year:

“Ramsey hasn’t really worked yet, even though he scored in the Old Firm, he’s been so stop-start. Ultimately, the players they bought in January have not stepped up.”

Ramsey is not expected to return before the Gers’ Europa League semi-final first leg against RB Leipzig on Thursday, and that will mean that he has missed at least six matches over the past few months.

In Diallo’s case, the winger has simply not shown enough when given opportunities by manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst. While he got off to a great start by scoring minutes into his debut, he has failed to really hit his straps since.
