West Ham will consider making a move for Inter Milan playmaker Christian Eriksen next month, according to reports in the UK.
The former Spurs midfielder has found game time difficult to come by after leaving England last January and a return to the Premier League looks to be a very real possibility when the transfer window reopens.
Arsenal were linked with Eriksen a few weeks ago, as they seek to improve their creativity in the final third but he is not thought to be the Gunners’ number one target. It could leave the Danish international looking for alternative destinations with the Hammers tipped to make an offer. Fans on Twitter have been discussing whether a move for another attacking midfielder is a good idea:
Cant say no to a player of that quality..surely moyes would have to fit him in ?

High wages and wouldn’t fit the system— Talkin West Ham #GSBOUT (@TalkinWestHam) December 8, 2020
Feel it would play out like Anderson, great player but might not fit in the current system so wouldn’t play at his full capacity

While Eriksen is a good player, it is hard to see where he would fit in. The Irons don’t play with a number 10 in a 3-4-3 and even if they did, they already have the likes of Pablo Fornals in the squad who can fulfil that role.
