West Ham have joined Tottenham and Juventus in pursuing Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the Hammers “could make a great proposal” for the 25-year-old if they do sell vice-captain Declan Rice this summer.

However, Soler may well be a player that manager David Moyes is considering even if Rice does stay at the London Stadium. Mark Noble is retiring at the end of the season and a replacement will be needed.

Soler has been in excellent form this campaign, having scored 10 goals in 26 games. He was even handed his first senior cap for Spain back in September, and he has gone on to make three more appearances for his national team.

With his contract set to expire in 2023, and no sign of an extension, Soler could also be available for a reasonable price. There is likely, though, to be fierce competition for his signature. As well as Spurs and Juve, the midfielder has also been a long-term target for Arsenal.
