Despite a couple of good performances, like recently at Chelsea, Hart has had a nightmare season for the Hammers, and has made the third most errors leading to goals in the entire league (4).
Adrian also has a mistake or two in him, but has shown glimpses of brilliance since moving to West Ham in 2013, and has endeared himself to the fans during that time.
The 31 year-old Spaniard will look to prove he is better than the 75-cap Hart on Sunday, and fans couldn’t be any happier.
It’s been a pretty miserable season for West Ham fans, and they have been particularly annoyed by the form of Joe Hart.
The England goalkeeper didn’t arrive in London with a perfect reputation, but he was certainly thought to be an upgrade on the goalkeeping options already at the club.
That hasn’t turned out to be the case though, as Hart lost his place to Adrian earlier in the season.
Hugill is currently on loan at Loftus Road but the Championship side won’t be able to afford to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, with the Hammers keen on Eze, a straight player swap could well happen. Supporters on Twitter think such a deal would be a fantastic piece of business:
Although Eze would usually be valued at a price much higher than Hugill, the 21-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract at QPR.
With that being the case, West Ham could yet seal a deal for the midfielder if they include Hugill plus a small amount of cash for the exchange to be accepted.
Signing Eze would be seen as a tremendous coup with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, Leicester City, Sheffield United, Southampton and Crystal Palace also said to be watching the player.
