Arsenal are weighing up a possible move for West Ham attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson, according to insider source ExWHUemployee.

The reliable Twitter ITK shared some information about the Brazilian’s future on Instagram earlier today, stating that Lazio and the Gunners are among a few teams keen on the 27-year-old. It is thought the London club’s technical director Edu is a big fan:

A few clubs have started to show an interest in Anderson including former club Lazio and surprisingly Arsenal. Edu, their technical director, is a big fan and recommended him for the Brazil national team. This is likely to be a back up option for them but there is so interest.

Anderson is said to be keen on staying with the Hammers but with limited transfer funds available, it is thought that manager David Moyes is open to the player being sold.

West Ham spent £36m on the midfielder two years ago but he struggled for form during his second season at the London Stadium. It is unlikely the Irons will be able to recoup the money they paid for the Brazilian, but the player is expected to be offloaded if either Lazio or Arsenal table a decent bid.
