Crystal Palace could enter the battle to sign West Ham target Said Benrahma, according to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon.
The Eagles are currently focused on making a move for Watford’s Ismaila Sarr but if they fail in their attempts to snap up the Senegalese international, they could switch their attentions towards the Brentford wide man instead:
PALACE. Having a final go for Sarr at Watford. If can’t do that return to Benrahma and see cost of whole package. West Ham also looking at him … Palace still have money to spend.

The Hammers have also changed targets, after having a £13m offer for Bournemouth’s Joshua King turned down, with the Cherries demanding in excess of £17m for the Norwegian despite the player being out of contract next summer.
Benrahma will certainly not be any cheaper, though, with Brentford reportedly asking for £25m. The Bees are open to selling the Algerian international, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal in recent months.
Even so, unlike King who can play as a striker, Benrahma is ostensibly a winger, which is not an area where West Ham are short of options.
