West Ham have officially announced their 125th Anniversary home shirt ahead of the 2020/21 season. The Hammers have become one of the first top-flight teams to reveal their new shirt despite the current campaign having still not been completed.
Manufacturer Umbro have gone with a very traditional design, although the blue they have used this time round is greyer than what we have seen in recent years.
There has been a mixed reaction to the kit on Twitter, with some liking the new look, while others are not happy with the badge:
Needs a real badge

The general design of the shirt has gone down well, as some of the comments suggest, but the presence of “London” on the club badge does continue to grate with many.
It does also feel like this is a cut and paste job of the 2015/16 kit, which is a lazy decision by Umbro but, some would say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
