Southampton are keen on signing West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks, according to reports in the English media.
The Saints are currently in negotiations to make Kyle Walker-Peters loan move from Tottenham into a permanent one, but they feel the price Spurs are asking for the fullback is too high.
It could mean that they turn to Fredericks, who is said to be available this summer. Supporters on Twitter are open to the defender leaving the London Stadium:
Please take him

Fredericks has struggled for form and fitness since his arrival from Fulham two years ago, and the likes of Jeremy Ngakia and Ben Johnson have impressed in his absence.
Reports have also linked the Hammers with River Plate’s Gonzalo Montiel, Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot and Barcelona’s Moussa Wague suggesting that the club are actively looking to improve their options at right-back. It could mean that Fredericks is sold in order for other transfers to be finalised.
