West Ham forward Michail Antonio has pretty much been the difference between the London club staying up and being relegated this season.
The Hammers’ star has been in blistering form in front of goal this month, demonstrated by the club’s official Twitter account who shared his remarkable stats for July:

Supporters on Twitter believe Antonio deserves huge credit for the performances he has put in since the restart:

Although Declan Rice has certainly been the most consistent player this campaign, there is a case to say that Antonio has made the most decisive contribution, so he was unlucky to miss out on the club’s player of the season prize.
With the 30-year-old’s contract expiring next year, fans will now be hoping that the club sit down with the player in the coming weeks, and agree a new deal which will keep him at West Ham for many more years to come.
