Jesse Lingard appears to have confirmed that he won’t be joining West Ham on a permanent basis (for the time being at least).
The Manchester United loanee took to Instagram earlier today to thank the fans, his teammates and manager who helped make his time at the London Stadium so enjoyable:

Supporters on Twitter are not losing all hope that West Ham can keep Lingard but they are now far less optimistic that he will make the move from United this summer:
This sounds final doesn’t it?

A decision is expected to be made on Lingard’s future at Old Trafford very soon. With just a year left on his contract, the Red Devils were said to be open to selling for around £15m, with the likes of Arsenal also having been linked with the 28-year-old.
However, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may still see a future for him at the Manchester club so it will be an anxious wait to see whether he will be allowed to leave in the coming weeks.
