Chelsea could use any one of six players in their bid to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, according to ExWHUEmployee.
There had been reports previously that three stars could be offered to the Hammers, including Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori and Michy Batshuayi, but the latest claims suggest Ross Barkley could also be made available.
Supporters on Twitter have called on their club to resist any part-exchange deal for Rice:
We don’t want any cast offs. Barkley and Batty are both on over £100k a week. We need young hungry players on no more than £50k a week. Need to get our wage bill down.

The last thing we need is 6 Chelsea rejects on massive wages. We’ve enough dead wood to sell, if Chelsea want rice we should hold them to ransom! Maguire went for 80 million FFS!!! We don’t need the likes of batshuiy and co

We have got to keep hold of him at all costs! Give him the armband and give him a new new contract. Have to make him one of our highest paid players if not the highest paid player! #COYI

Much better to get cash we can spend as Moyes wishes on players who see us as a step up (or at least sideways ) and are keen to come. #NoMoreHasBeens

If he does go then it needs to be cash only no players exchanges…£100m… Nothing less also with add-ons. Champions League qualification another £10m Win the league..£10m… Etc etc. Other clubs do it to us. Sell on fee too…

I’d still rather keep Rice for a couple years, give him a new contract and let him go in a couple years, I know it’s unlikely we’ll keep him forever and the boy deserves to play at the top but he’s still young and he’s still a West Ham player. Tell them to F off.

I pray we don’t let him go

Would rather keep rice no matter what they offer!

So we are meant to be happy with Chelsea offcasts

With Frank Lampard’s side looking to seal a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, it appears the Blues are looking to reduce their outgoings in their attempts to snap up Rice.
It’s very unlikely to succeed, though, with West Ham having set a very high price tag for the player. There is no way he will be let go on the cheap, considering his importance to the team, and the Irons will certainly not be impressed with the players that Chelsea are offering in exchange for him.
