West Ham are looking at Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as a potential signing for the January transfer window, according to insider ExWHUemployee.
Manager David Moyes is said to be looking at three options, with the former Celtic forward being considered along with Bournemouth’s Joshua King and Blackburn Rovers’ Adam Armstrong.
Despite Dembele attracting interest from the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea in the past, most fans on Twitter don’t believe signing the 24-year-old is realistic, with many believing that the club should go after the other two candidates on the list:
We won’t get him

Might mean Moyes is looking at playing 2 strikers finally?

Dembele is top draw mate, would be buzzing with Armstrong though

Dembele would be a good option tbh or do you think he’s not good enough? Honestly some of our fans love turning their noses at players and expect us to sign people like messi

Reports suggest that Dembele could cost as much as £30m, so it would be a surprise if the Hammers managed to raise the funds necessary to snap him up, unless they can arrange a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
King is thought to be Moyes’ preferred option so we shall see if a move is made for the Norwegian international in the New Year.
