West Ham and Arsenal are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt wingback Filip Kostic, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Italian website reports that the two Premier League clubs have joined Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid in the race for the Serbian international, who has provided ten assists this campaign.
Kostic is not expected to sign a new contract, and with eighteen months remaining on his current deal, he could leave Frankfurt at the end of the season.
Calciomercato do, however, claim that the 29-year-old is unlikely to move clubs this month so if Hammers boss David Moyes is looking to sign the player in order to replace the injured Aaron Cresswell, he may have to look elsewhere.
Everton’s Lucas Digne has also been considered by West Ham but the Frenchman is thought to be closing in on a move to Aston Villa. Bologna’s Aaron Hickey is another name that has emerged as a potential option in recent days, with the Scottish fullback also believed to be on Celtic’s radar.
