Barcelona will slap a €25m (£21.3m) price tag on Emerson Royal if they do decide to recall the Brazilian fullback from Real Betis in the summer, according to Goal.
In a complicated deal, Barca do have an option to buy the 22-year-old outright from Betis for €9m (£7.7m) after allowing the player to spend the last two years in Seville.
It could mean that West Ham and Arsenal, who are said to be interested in Emerson, would have to pay a premium in order to secure the defender’s services.
Barcelona reportedly have to hand 20% of the fee over to Betis, which is likely to push up the asking price, and if they stick to their demands, it will likely put off the Hammers from making an offer.
Manager David Moyes already has good options at right-back with Vladimir Coufal, in particular, having excelled since arriving from Slavia Prague at the start of the season.
