Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara is expected to make a decision on his future early next month, according to Goal.
The website believes that Atletico Madrid are favourites to secure the Frenchman’s signature, but he still hasn’t made up his mind about who he will join.
It was reported a few weeks ago that West Ham, Manchester United, Newcastle and Crystal Palace had all opened talks to sign Kamara on a free transfer, with the 22-year-old demanding around £150,000 a week.
Goal don’t mention the Hammers by name but they say that a number of teams across Europe have made offers to the player. If it comes down to finances, teams in England will have a significant advantage as they can offer better wages and signing-on fees.
However, Kamara is believed to be keen on working with Atletico boss Diego Simeone so we shall see if that proves a pivotal factor when he makes his final choice.
