West Ham defender Kurt Zouma is likely to return to action this weekend after missing the 2-2 draw versus Leicester due to illness. The Frenchman pulled out of the game last Sunday during the warm-up but he should be available for the match against Newcastle.
Jarrod Bowen should also be in contention despite picking up a knock, but Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku (both knee) have been ruled out.
West Ham’s Predicted XI To Play Newcastle:
Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Dawson, Cresswell, Soucek, Fornals, Rice, Bowen, Antonio, Benrahma
Magpies boss Eddie Howe will have Matt Targett available after being ineligible to play against his parent club Aston Villa. Captain Jamaal Lascelles is a minor doubt due to illness, while Callum Wilson (calf), Isaac Hayden (knee), Federico Fernandez (thigh), Kieran Trippier (foot), Matt Ritchie (knee), Jamal Lewis (groin) and Javier Manquillo (ankle) are all unavailable.
Newcastle’s Predicted XI:
Dubravka, Krafth, Schar, Burn, Dummett, Shelvey, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Fraser, Wood, Saint-Maximin
The bookmakers have made the Hammers the favourites with Betfred pricing them at 7/10 odds-on for the win. A draw is 3/1 with Bet 365 while a victory for Newcastle is currently 17/4 at Coral.
Predicted Score – 1-0 to West Ham
