Rangers attacking midfielder Juninho Bacuna played a key role as the Light Blues came from 1-0 down to win 4-2 against Ross County.
The 24-year-old scored his first goal for the club, as well as providing an assist for Ryan Kent, helping Steve Gerrard’s side maintain a four-point gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Some of Bacuna’s early performances for the Gers have been criticised but many supporters on Twitter were impressed by what they saw of the Curacao international yesterday:
Outstanding performance 👌

Made up for the guy. Had to wait his time but that’ll really get him motoring now.

Doubted the manager starting him today but he rightly went out and proved me wrong 👏🏻 looked good and looks like more to come

He did well – there’s more to see from him. Drives well with the ball & looks to try & pass forward through the lines

Bacuna grew into the game on his first league start for the Scottish champions. He nearly got on the end of two balls in the first half, and his pass led to Kent putting Rangers 2-1 up.
The midfielder got on the scoresheet himself just four minutes after the interval and, as well as getting involved in the goals, his overall game was impressive, constantly looking to beat his man and set up attacks. A very promising display that bodes well for the future.
