Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has undergone an X-ray to determine the seriousness of the injury he picked up in Senegal’s 1-1 draw against Togo.
The 29-year-old had to be substituted midway through the first half, following a clash with a defender. It is not entirely clear what type of injury Mane has sustained but it is believed to be either a rib or hip issue.
Some supporters on Twitter are very frustrated that Mane has been sidelined whilst on international duty. Others are just hoping he is alright:

Senegal head coach Aliou Cisse played down Mane’s injury after the match, saying he was taken off as a “precaution” but the fact that he has undergone a scan may suggest otherwise.
Liverpool play their next match against Arsenal in a week’s time and it will be hoped that the forward is available to take his place in the starting lineup for the game.
