Arsenal centre-back William Saliba is “planning” to return to the Emirates next season with the intention of being part of the first-team setup, according to the Daily Telegraph‘s Sam Dean.
The journalist claims the Frenchman is taking English lessons, even though there are still doubts over whether he will be in Mikel Arteta’s plans:

Saliba has been hailed by sections of the French media for his performances during his time on loan at Marseille and it seems he also has a very close relationship with his manager Jorge Sampaoli.
That would suggest that the Ligue One club may attempt to sign him on a permanent basis next summer. They don’t have an option to buy him currently and Gunners fans will be hoping their club don’t opt to dispense with the 20-year-old’s services.
Arteta has said there is “room” for Saliba at the London club but he was careful with his words, stating it may depend on whether any other defenders leave in the summer.
