Rangers winger Scott Wright got on the scoresheet just after half-time as the Scottish champions secured a vital win against Motherwell yesterday.
Despite being down to ten men for over an hour, the Gers wrapped up a pretty comfortable 3-1 win at Fir Park, with Wright at the heart of things.
While Liam Kelly was credited with an own goal for the opener, Wright was right on the line to capitalise as the goalkeeper flapped from a Connor Goldson header. He then restored his side’s lead right after the interval. Supporters on Twitter were quick to praise the 24-year-old after the final whistle:
Superb performance. 👏👏👏👏

Played really well. Need to stop thinking what to do and just do it. He’s better when he doesn’t think.

Wright has had an up and down first full campaign at Ibrox. The winger’s five goals and two assists in 30 appearances doesn’t exactly suggest he has had much of an impact, but you have to factor in that he has only started seven league matches. Hopefully, he can kick on and finish the season strongly.
