Manchester United scouts are keeping tabs on Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, according to reports in the English media.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a whole host of teams such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in recent months but it seems the Red Devils could be targeting him as a potential option to strengthen in midfield.
Some fans on Twitter would back the signing of Gravenberch, while others are more hesitant due to the fact that his agent is Mino Raiola:
Gravenberch is the type of midfielder we need. I doubt it would happen though. Manchester United already missed out of Bellingham and Camavinga. We can’t miss out on Gravenberch

A cracking talent but no thanks mainly cos Raiola is his client. Besides I think he’ll end up at Bayern Munich or somewhere like that. We should bring in Kamara & Neves

Hes magnificent…. But not his agent…. I cant understand how good players still choose him as their agent…

Pogba replacement

If he is Raiola’s client we should stay very far away from him. There s plenty alternatives out there.

If we get ten hag that would make us favourites to sign him

Stay far away from Raiola. Pogba can go as well so we forget about Raiola for good.

It is believed that Gravenberch does favour a switch to Bayern, so United may not be in the running to sign the Dutch international anyway.
There are other names being bandied around, including West Ham’s Declan Rice, Wolves’ Ruben Neves, Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara and Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara; all of whom have been linked with moves to Old Trafford in recent months, so we shall see which midfielder the club choose to go after.
