Manchester City are interested in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to agent Vincenzo Morabito.
The France international has been linked with a number of clubs in England, including Arsenal and Manchester United, but in an interview with Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Morabito claimed that the 25-year-old was on City’s list of targets, although the player is not interested in moving:
“The Frenchman is on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City target list. But he will not leave Juventus.”
Morabito does have a lot of connections in Italy but supporters on Twitter are very sceptical about the claim that City are pursuing Rabiot:
can’t even lace Rodri’s boots

Rabiot is not city material, trust me. He can’t even hold down a spot in a terrible Juventus midfield. Juve will sell him tho.

Rabiot actually spent a brief spell with City as a youth player back in 2008 before he returned to France and made his name at Paris Saint-Germain.
The midfielder moved to Juventus on a free transfer in 2019 and has been a regular in the Serie A champions’ first-team over the past two seasons. As some fans have rightly pointed out, though, midfield is not exactly an area that manager Pep Guardiola is short of numbers.
