Ian Wright Names The ONE Fixture Where City Could “Slip Up” In Title Run In

Ex-Arsenal and West Ham striker Ian Wright believes Manchester City’s game against the Hammers later this month could be a dangerous fixture for the league leaders.

Many pundits have claimed that neither the Citizens nor Liverpool will drop points during the run-in but Wright has pinpointed the West Ham match as one to keep an eye on:

“I’ve got a feeling there will be a twist, West Ham away, that’s where I think City could slip up.”

As we have mentioned before, City have proven previously that they are excellent frontrunners. Winning 14 matches in a row to secure the 2018/19 league title by one point is testament to that.

It can also be argued that Liverpool have the tougher games remaining, with a home fixture against Champions League chasing Tottenham coming up this weekend.

West Ham will, of course, be a difficult game, and nobody, least of all manager Pep Guardiola, will be underestimating their opponents. As the Spaniard has said himself, the title is in their hands and they need to complete the job by winning their final four matches.
