Three City Legends Head 25 Man Shortlist For The Premier League Hall Of Fame

Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure have been shortlisted for the Premier League Hall of Fame.

The three club legends have been selected along with 22 others for this year’s induction. Manchester United have the most former players named, including the likes of Andrew Cole, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Peter Schmeichel, Paul Scholes, Teddy Sheringham, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Edwin van der Sar and Nemanja Vidic.

Chelsea have Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, Didier Drogba and John Terry on the list, while the likes of Arsenal’s Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Robin van Persie and Ian Wright also made the cut.

Liverpool pair Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen, Southampton’s Matt Le Tissier and ex-Tottenham and Newcastle striker Les Ferdinand made up the rest of the nominees.
