Manchester United will “make a decision” on Dean Henderson’s future this summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 25-year-old has been linked with Newcastle (along with Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga) in recent days and Romano has confirmed the Magpies are pursuing the England international:
Newcastle are interested in Dean Henderson since last January, he’s always been one of three goalkeepers in the list for NUFC. 🏴 #NUFC
Man United will make a decision about Dean in the summer whether let him go on loan or not. He wants to play as starter next season.

After breaking into United’s first team at the back end of last season, Henderson has found it much harder to get game time this term.
The shot-stopper had a difficult start to the campaign after picking up the virus in pre-season and, combined with the excellent form of David De Gea, it led to him being restricted to appearances in cup competitions.
With United reportedly considering a free transfer move for West Brom’s number one Sam Johnstone, it appears that the Red Devils are already preparing for life without Henderson. Whether he ends up joining Newcastle on loan or on a permanent basis, we shall have to wait and see.
