Manchester United have a 6% sell-on clause on Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in the Italian media.
Chelsea are said to be prepared to pay €130m (£110m) for the Belgian international, who left Old Trafford for Inter Milan two years ago, which means the Red Devils are expected to receive around £6.6m if the transfer is finalised.
While not an astronomical amount, supporters on Twitter are hopeful that the money could be put towards signing a central midfielder before the transfer window closes at the end of August:

Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez and Wolves’ Ruben Neves are said to be the two likeliest signings were United to go back into the transfer market, although there has been talk that funds could be invested in snapping up Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid instead.
Wherever the money goes, it seems like it will be put to good use. The Manchester club have had a good summer so far, bringing in both Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.
