No club with Champions League football has “come forward with serious interest” for Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans, leaving Arsenal in pole position to sign the player, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian international is said to be keen on playing in Europe’s top competition next season if he leaves the Foxes, but it appears he may have to set his sights a bit lower.

Tielemans has twelve months left on his contract, and reports have suggested that the midfielder could be let go for as little as £25m this summer.

The Gunners are believed to have had discussions with the 25-year-old’s agent about a move already, and a number of respected journalists have credited the London club with an interest in the player.

Other Premier League teams, including Manchester United and West Ham, have also been linked with Tielemans but it appears that Arsenal are currently the likeliest to make a bid for the midfielder.
