Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid have all made proposals to sign Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Colombian international has had an excellent season so far, scoring 18 goals and contributing 11 assists in 38 appearances but he will be on the market this summer.
Feyenoord are only looking for around €15m (£12.6m) for Sinisterra and, for a 22-year-old who still has his best years ahead of him, it seems like a very good deal.
The player reportedly hasn’t made up his mind about which team he wants to join yet but he has been learning English so that would suggest a move to the Gunners would appeal to him.
It does appear as though manager Mikel Arteta is looking to sign a winger. Reliable journalist David Ornstein mentioned Arsenal’s interest in PSV’s Cody Gakpo last week and Sinisterra is a very similar player, playing off the left flank so he cut in onto his stronger right foot. We shall see if these rumours turn into something more concrete in the coming weeks.
