Arsenal Weighing Up Free Transfer Swoop For 32 Cap International As Agent Arrives In England

Arsenal are seriously considering making an offer for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Argentine, who has 32 caps for his country, is out of contract at the end of June, and it has led to a scramble to sign him on a free transfer.

An agent representing Dybala has reportedly been dispatched to England to ascertain which Premier League teams would be interested in snapping him up at the end of the season.

The Gunners, Tottenham and Manchester City are said to be the three main candidates in terms of English clubs but the favourites to secure the 28-year-old’s signature are believed to be Atletico Madrid currently.

A lot could change before the summer, though and, if Arsenal do put a good enough offer on the table, Dybala could well be tempted into making the switch to the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side are actively looking to strengthen their options up front, with the likes of Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Darwin Nunez also being targeted.
