Lille midfielder Renato Sanches has seemingly opened the door to a possible move to Arsenal this summer.
A report linked the Portuguese international with a switch to the Emirates last week, and former teammate Gabriel Magalhaes, who left Lille for the Gunners last year, messaged him to say he should join him in London. Sanches replied saying he is waiting for the invitation:

Unsurprisingly, that response got a lot of Arsenal fans on Twitter excited, with many wanting technical director Edu to get on the phone as soon as possible to sign him:

Whether Sanches was simply joking around, we shall have to wait and see. Lille won the Ligue One title last season and he will be playing in the Champions League next campaign so he is unlikely to be in a rush to leave France.
However, reports do suggest that the 23-year-old is determined to prove himself in England, after previously struggling during an ill-fated loan spell at Swansea in 2017.
