Arsenal have registered an interest in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to FussballTransfers.com.
The German website claims that the Gunners have joined a long list of potential suitors, with the 32-year-old expected to leave the San Siro this summer. He has one year remaining on his contract and is unlikely to sign an extension.
Perisic, who has been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham in the past, is believed to favour a move to either England or Spain if he does leave Italy.
The Croatian international mostly played as a left wingback under manager Antonio Conte last season, making 32 league appearances as he helped the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title.
Whether there is any real substance to this link, we shall have to wait and see. Perisic isn’t exactly a young player anymore, but he could well be a stop-gap measure, with Willian likely to be on his way out of the Emirates.
