Celtic Close To Sealing Double Deal As They See Off Challenge From 5 EPL Teams

Celtic duo Daniel Kelly and Mitchel Frame are poised to sign long-term contracts to keep them with the Hoops, according to reports in the Scottish media.

Kelly has been pursued by the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool but it is now believed that the midfielder will put pen to paper on a three-year deal in the coming days.

Frame has also been looked at by English teams, with Premier League champions Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Newcastle all tracking the fullback’s progress.

However, it is believed that the teenager is ready to commit his future to Celtic. While a new contract is not believed to be as imminent as Kelly’s, there is now more optimism that he’ll stay at Lennoxtown.

It was first reported back in January that EPL clubs were keeping tabs on Frame’s situation but the 16-year-old appears to have made a firm decision to remain in Scotland, rather than move south of the border.
