Celtic V Rangers: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Celtic know a win in the derby tomorrow evening will take them above Rangers in the table. It won’t be easy for Ange Postecoglou’s side, though, with so many players unavailable.

Kyogo Furuhashi (hamstring) Callum McGregor (cheekbone), David Turnbull (hamstring), Yosuke Ideguchi (ankle) and Albian Ajeti (hamstring) have all been ruled out. Tom Rogic is on international duty while Daizen Maeda could feature but it is touch and go whether he’ll be ready to play. Nir Bitton is suspended after his red card against Dundee United at the weekend.

Celtic’s Predicted XI To Face Rangers:

Hart, Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor, O’Riley, McCarthy, Hatate, Abada, Giakoumakis, Jota

For Celtic’s rivals, Steven Davis could be back in the matchday squad after injury, but Amad Diallo is a minor doubt after picking up a knock in the 3-3 draw versus Ross County. Filip Helander (knee), Leon Balogun (back), Ianis Hagi (knee) will all be missing, along with Alfredo Morelos, who is on international duty with Colombia.

Rangers’ Predicted XI:

McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Arfield, Aribo, Kamara, Amad, Roofe, Kent

The bookmakers have Celtic as the favourites with Coral pricing them at 6/5 to win. A draw is 12/5 with Sky Bet while a victory for the Gers is 14/5 at Bet 365.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to Celtic
