Three Celtic Players Named In Scottish Premiership ‘Team of The Month’

Celtic’s Callum McGregor, David Turnbull and Jota have all made it into WhoScored.com‘s Scottish Premiership team of the month.

The trio have all played important roles in helping the Hoops turn around their fortunes since the last international break.

McGregor (with a rating of 7.22) did not score or provide an assist in five league matches during October but he was instrumental in helping Ange Postecoglou’s side secure four wins and one draw.

Turnbull (7.88) was more productive with one goal and two assists, while Jota was excellent, having racked up two goals and contributed two assists of his own.

Rangers’ James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos & Fashion Sakala were also included, along with Hearts’ Craig Gordon and St Mirren’s James McGrath. Dundee United’s Charlie Mulgrew, Scott McMann and Ryan Edwards completed the eleven.

Postecoglou will be hoping that, after a successful October, Celtic can continue their good run of form in November, starting with the match against Dundee this weekend.
