Barcelona have still not managed to offer a contract that meets Ousmane’s Dembele’s salary demands, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist says that there is still no agreement between the two sides after another meeting this week:
The meeting between Ousmane Dembélé’s agents and Barcelona took place this week. There’s still no full agreement to extend the contract, it’s still an open situation. 🇫🇷 #FCB

Chelsea, Manchester United and even Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Dembele over the past few weeks, but the player’s strong links with Thomas Tuchel would make the Blues’ the favourites to land the player on a free if Barca can’t agree a new deal.
Dembele has described Tuchel as his “favourite manager” in the past, while Tuchel himself has stated that the winger is a “very good player” when asked about him back in January.
It does appear that Dembele’s preference would be to remain at Barcelona currently but, with Chelsea now in a position to sign players again, he may be tempted by a switch to Stamford Bridge if Tuchel gives him a call.
