Sevilla are concerned about losing Jules Kounde to Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to reports in the Spanish media.
The Frenchman was the subject of a bid from Chelsea over the summer and there has been some speculation that the Blues may revisit the situation in the New Year.
However, it is believed United may trigger Kounde’s €80m (£68m) release clause to fix their defensive problems. Some fans on Twitter were sceptical about the legitimacy of the rumours, while others feel the club don’t need the player anyway:

Trevoh Chalaboah has undoubtedly reduced the urgency to sign a centre-half in January. However, the contracts of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Thiago Silva all expire in the summer and it’s unlikely that all three will stay.
With that being the case, losing out on Kounde would be a blow so we shall see whether Chelsea do decide to take on United for the 22-year-old in January.
