Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are both “looking” at signing Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, according to Argentinian journalist Julio Pavoni.
The reporter, who specialises in talking about Boca Juniors, claims that Juve are weighing up selling Bentancur and the Uruguayan’s former club Boca could get some money from their sell-in clause if he moves to London or Paris:
|ATENCIÓN| Boca está al tanto de que JUVENTUS tiene decidido vender a Rodrigo Bentancur en este mercado de pases. Boca conserva aún un porcentaje del pase. Lo busca PSG y CHELSEA.

Chelsea are thought to be looking at signing a holding midfield player this summer. Manager Thomas Tuchel and his backroom staff are thought to be big fans of West Ham’s Declan Rice while Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni and Benfica’s Julian Weigl have also been heavily linked in recent months.
Bentancur, who is valued at £30m by Transfermarkt, is likely to be much cheaper than Rice and possibly even Tchouameni, so there is no reason to doubt that the Blues are interested.
The Uruguayan international certainly fits the bill in terms of the type of midfielder Tuchel is looking for, and if Juve are open to selling then he is likely to be somewhere on the London club’s list of targets.
