“Maybe One Day I Will Be Back…” 67M Rated Serie A Star Drops Huge Transfer Hint Amid Chelsea And Arsenal Links

Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has expressed his desire to move back to London at some point in the future.

The 24-year-old has been in superb form this season for Roma, scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances for the Serie A club and, when asked about a potential return to Stamford Bridge, he was pretty frank in admitting that it is a possibility:

“It’s all over the place at the moment. Who knows what the future holds. Of course I grew up in England. And I’m a London boy so maybe one day I will be back in the Premier League to make noise there.”

Chelsea did ensure that they included a buyback clause when they sold Abraham to Roma for €40m (£34m) last summer, but they would have to pay double (€80m or £67m) to get him back, and it only comes into effect at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United and even Manchester City have been mentioned as potentially being interested in the forward. Whether any of them will actually make a formal bid before that clause can be triggered, we shall have to wait and see.
