Fulham attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho gave his side a shock early lead in their FA Cup tie against Manchester City yesterday afternoon.
Although the Cottagers went on to lose 4-1, the 19-year-old stood out as one of the best players on the pitch. Liverpool tried to sign the teenager before the January transfer window closed but failed to get a deal finalised in time. Even so, fans on Twitter believe the midfielder has huge potential and they hope he’ll arrive at Anfield for the start of next season:

Carvalho does look like a real talent, and those claiming that he has a bit of Phillipe Coutinho about him are not wrong. He excels playing in the number 10 position and certainly has an eye for goal.
The failure to secure his signature last month was a disappointment, especially as the likes of Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also keen on the youngster. However, the Reds are thought to be still confident of snapping him up before the summer.
