Liverpool And United Told They Must Pay 77M For Champions League Winner

Liverpool and Manchester United will have to pay at least €90m (£77m) if they want to sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.

The Champions League winner has two years left on his contract at the Allianz Arena but Falk says the player, who has also been linked with Chelsea in recent months, does not believe he will get a move this summer:

There had been reports in the Italian media that Liverpool had tabled a €35m (£30m) bid for Coman, with Bayern holding out for around €50m (£43m), but those claims appear to be wide of the mark.

It is believed that Bayern are determined to keep hold of the France international, and that is the reason why they have slapped such a high price tag on the player.

However, with no sign of Coman signing an extension, and the fact that his father is said to be trying to force through a move to England, it won’t be long before Bayern will have to consider lowering their demands.
