Liverpool won’t agree a deal to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez unless they receive the funds from the sale of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, according to The Telegraph.
The English newspaper believes that the Reds are still holding out for around €50m (£43m) to offload Mane, which will go towards the £60m (plus add-ons) they expect to pay Benfica for Nunez:

Various reports have suggested that Jurgen Klopp’s side are close to sealing a deal for Nunez, but this latest development does indicate that the move isn’t sewn up quite yet.
Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham have all been credited with an interest in the Uruguayan international and there remains a danger that the transfer could be hijacked if Liverpool stall for too long.
Bayern have reportedly had a second bid rejected for Mane in recent days and it remains to be seen whether they will come back with an offer that meets the Reds’ demands.
