Romano Makes Claim About Chelsea’s Transfer Stance As Liverpool Are Linked With American Ace

Chelsea have not received any official offers for Christian Pulisic and may well be reluctant to let the American international go this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Pulisic but Romano has played down suggestions that the winger could move to Anfield, stating that Chelsea are not keen on letting too many forwards leave:

Romano claims that Timo Werner’s future may play a role in whether Pulisic is allowed to move. The German international is thought to be keen on a transfer and, if he does secure his departure from Stamford Bridge, the Blues are not likely to be open to another sale in the frontline.

You also have to remember that Romelu Lukaku is unsettled at Chelsea, and if the Belgian is sold or loaned out, manager Thomas Tuchel will be left with even fewer options.

While Liverpool may well be keen on recruiting Pulisic, the chances of the 23-year-old arriving on Merseyside this summer are rather slim currently.
