Manchester United V Arsenal: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester United caretaker coach Michael Carrick has confirmed he still hasn’t spoken to Ralf Rangnick, with the German’s work permit application still being processed.

It means that Carrick is likely to be the one setting out the game plan for tomorrow’s match against Arsenal at Old Trafford, which won’t be ideal.

The Gunners head into the game off the back of a 2-0 win against Newcastle but they did lose 4-0 to Liverpool in their last away game so this match is a difficult one to call.

With regards to the teams, Luke Shaw (concussion) and Edinson Cavani (tendon) are doubts while Raphael Varane (hamstring) and Paul Pogba (thigh) have been ruled out. Harry Maguire will return after serving a one-match ban.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Arsenal:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Sancho, Ronaldo, Rashford

The Gunners have doubts over Bukayo Saka’s fitness due to a groin problem while Granit Xhaka (knee) and Sead Kolasinac (ankle) are unavailable.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI:

Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares, Lokonga, Odegaard, Partey, Martinelli, Aubameyang, Smith Rowe

The bookies have made United the slight favourites with William Hill pricing them at evens to get the win. A draw is currently 11/4 with Betway while a victory for the Gunners is 11/4 at Sky Bet.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to United
